Learn the sand casting basics!In this safety and basic function course you will gain your first experience of sand casting and learn how to operate the Rohde ME 65/13 and ME 20/13 chamber furnaces.The sand casting process can be used in conjunction with many MakerSpace machines such as 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC milling machines to create high quality moulds from simple to complex.In the course you will independently create a sand mould and cast a (useful) piece of aluminium to take home at the end.
