This session will explore the characteristics of popular varieties like Moso and Makino bamboo. Dr. Lee will then delve into various production techniques, including bamboo carving, weaving, pipe joining, and laminating. These methods are used to create everything from stunning architecture and crafts to artistic pieces and manufactured goods.Next, the workshop transitions to a hands-on session. Dr. Lee will guide you through creating a small basket, showcasing the versatility of bamboo and the elegance of traditional weaving techniques.
